The Buteyko Breathing Method, often referred to as ‘Buteyko’ (pronounced Bu-tay-ko) is a clinically proven, natural (non-drug) and safe breathing re-training method that is most commonly used as an effective treatment for asthma and other breathing related disorders.

THE COURSE INSTRUCTOR
The course instructor for Buteyko Breathing Clinics is Dr. Alan Ruth. Alan holds professional qualifications in physiology, health psychology and biology. He also holds diplomas in stress management, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioural therapy.
Alan’s articles on the Buteyko Breathing Method and other topics in behavioural medicine and health psychology have appeared in medical, nursing, pharmacy, psychiatry and holistic health publications.
